- Dr. Stinson has been presented with a ConocoPhillips Faculty Sponsorship Program award. Please join us at the next professional meeting to celebrate this wonderful news! You can also send Dr. Stinson a congratulatory note to jbstinson@uh.edu.
- Everyone can turn in their individual community service hours to any officer Tuesday through Thursday at Starbucks from 10am to 3pm. Please remember that this is required for membership!

- Republic is a leading provider of waste collection services, and is a particularly stable firm that has proven successful in even today's troubled economy. The Houston office pays special attention to students from the University of Houston, so be sure to come out and meet the recruiters!

- Location: 1100 Bagby St, Houston, TX 77002 (Sam Houston Park between McKinney and Lamar/Allen Parkway, map)
- Attire: Casual

- Registration: See AHARegistration.pdf (team name Beta Alpha Psi)
- Carpool: Volunteers meet at the AIM Center at 6:15am, leave at 6:30am. Walk participants meet at the AIM Center at 7:15am, leave at 7:30am.
- There are two ways to to gain points for this event:
1. Volunteer with set-up - volunteer training session this Tuesday at 10060 Buffalo Speedway at 11:30am. Not mandatory, but points will be given.
2. Register for the walk (see AHARegistration.pdf and AHA Walk FAQ.doc). The first two steps described in the AHARegistration.pdf file is all that is required. You DO NOT need to set up a web page. - ALL volunteers and participants are to report to the Inspire Change Village (see map in AHAVolunteerPacket.pdf)
