"Being one of the largest student organizations at
Bauer, the Finance Association provides its members with
numerous benefits. As members, you get a chance to
explore the many resources (professional meetings,
competitions, corporate tours, networking seminars)
provided to you and be part of an enormous network. As
officers, it gives you the ability to develop and
enhance your skills and expertise by conducting real
life business decisions through a student-run
organization. FA opened many doors for me not only in
college but also in the corporate world. The more time
and commitment you put in, the more you will get back.

"Joining the
Finance Association and becoming actively involved can
be one of the best decisions you make while in college.
The Finance Association equips its members with the
tools necessary for the business world. As a former
member and officer of FA, I developed academically and
professionally through the events, activities and
competitions hosted by FA. The people I met and worked
with have inspired and challenged me to make the most of
myself. The friends I have made are without a doubt,
the best thing I got out of the Finance Association, and
I continue to learn from them today. The work and time

"FA
is by far the largest, most prestigious student
organization at Bauer. This organization equips
students with the necessary tools to prepare for the
corporate world. FA in essence plays a role of an
intermediary between members and corporate partners to
satisfy recruiting needs. I was in FA for 5
semesters, and was fortunate enough to obtain an officer
position for 3 consecutive semesters. Through my
involvement in the Finance Association, I learned the
importance of networking which in turn helped me launch
my career at Chevron. I've met some remarkable people
in FA and although they were acquaintances at first, they
are now family. I highly encourage everyone to join FA,
